Apronpalooza! CONTEST #5: Apronique

Are you getting tired of oogling aprons yet?

I thought not! Me neither. There are still SO many more adorable aprons that you will see, and have a chance to win, this week so keep coming back… I promise you’ll see more tempting apron fashions than you ever could have conceived of!

Apronique, as the name implies, is a company with a truly unique spin on apron fashions! First a little about the people behind the aprons though… If you are a member of the blogging community CWO (Christian Women Online) you will probably recognize this face that sat on the cover of the CWO online magazine button that was in your sidebar for quite some time:

It is Kristin Schweain who in 2000 began touring and recording with ZOEgirl, a Christian pop/rock music trio, and also co-founder with her friend Marilyn Brown of Apronique, a company that desires to encourage women to practice the art of hospitality, a theme which they literally weave into their products in the words, “Come and Dine.”

I love the theme verse that can be found on their “about us” page.

1 Peter 4:8-10: “Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without
grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to
serve one another, as good stewards of God’s

varied grace.”

No about the fabulous aprons that Apronique creates! Marilyn and Kristin have created only the most attractive and versatile aprons you can imagine. Their aprons really are made with all sorts of people in mind… cooks of all ages and of all personalities. From the fashionista to the microwave diva, there is likely an apron made by Apronique that you will love. To make it even better, all of the aprons made by Apronique are completely reversible, essentially giving you two aprons in one!

I love this one because the cut is fun and swingy and the colors are warm and comforting.

They also carry a stylish and classy His & Hers collection that you will find might do a little more of what I talked about in my earlier post today… making cooking become something that is done together as a way of relating as a couple, making the process of the meal as much a destination as the eating of it. Again, all of these designs are fully reversible.

Apronique also carries a cute and stylish selection of nursing covers made by Bebe au Lait. No longer do you have to wear a smock covered in giant blue eyed rubber duckies… (unless of course that is your style!)
WINNER #1 Will receive their pick of Apronique’s entire His & Hers collection! What a generous offer Marilyn and Kristin are offering you! That’s pretty much four aprons (because they are reversible) for free! Have fun deciding!!

WINNER #2 will receive this yummy chocolate candy inspired apron!
It makes me want to make some fudge…. and I’ve never made fudge. This apron could be dangerous!

  1. Royal Bouquet, Chocolate Sunflowers, Charcoal Sky – you really can’t expect me to choose between all of these, can you? The best part about these, is that you don’t have to choose your favorite color, because they’re REVERSIBLE! I may be in love.

  2. I really like the Evening Memories, but gotta go Big-time with Chocolate Delight. The brown and red combo is LUSCIOUS…–Barbara
